Dear Children of God,

We are joining time4God.com in asking your help for a poor African family. This family is struggling to live each day, going without many things we take for granted. They, your brothers and sisters need your help today to survive. While you read this, this family is suffering from drinking filthy water filled with diseases, and they cannot afford the medicine that is needed to cure them. They have little to no food to eat because the lack of rain has dried up the crops; they planted for an income and food. 

You can't change all poverty in the world, but if you are comfortably sitting at your computer, enjoying a cup of coffee or a cold drink and munching on some snacks, and can say to God, " This is not my problem," and then move on to another website; maybe you didn't give God time to answer you.

I found a few videos on Youtube that show you how these people have to live and these will make you grateful for every mouthful of water you drink. Please show God your gratitude by giving a small donation to help this family who may not survive without your help.

Rukeribuga, a 27 year old young man, has taken it upon himself to help his 7 member family survive. I have been talking with him via e-mail for some months now and have found him to be very loving and kind and completely humble in his plea for help. This young man is a new Christian, and is so faithful to the word of Christ, believing fully that his help will come by the love of God and through his new Christian family.  It's a delight to read his letters so full of hope and faith and constant praise for God, Jesus and The Holy Spirit that it fills me with love for him and I know our Heavenly Father must also be pleased with this young man. 

Rukeribuga, is very poor but left his family to find help for them. He is uneducated and knows the only way to get a job that will help his family is by going to school. He spends his time between school and looking for work and asking for help on the internet.

Many people think that his plea is fraudulent and so they will not help him. His story has been proven by some who went to Africa and met this young man in person. Time4God.com and I believe this man is truly in need of help. We have both spent several months speaking with him and know his humble story.  The kind people at time4God.com have been sending Rukeribuga a small amount of money each month so he can to go to school and have food and lodging. This small amount is enough to get Rukeribuga the absolute necessities, but because of where he has to live, many of his meager possessions have been stolen. This money is not enough to support his family's needs. His struggles become harder for him with each setback but this lovely young man only talks about how much God is taking care of him with all gratitude and love for his Heavenly Father's help and the help he is getting through his friends at time4God. 

In the months that I have been talking to Rukeribuga almost daily, I have learned so much about why he holds Jesus so close to his heart.  He has been called by God to spread the word about Jesus to his African brothers and sisters.  For this reason, he became Christian, and is working hard everyday to learn about his new religion and faith. I love that he thinks of me as someone who he can trust to share his life experiences.

This young man is truly loved and blessed by God who wants him to increase and survive so that he can do the work he was called to do.  He works so hard to help his family and do all that God is asking of him, with the most humble manner and love for God.  It has been a true pleasure for me to read his letters and kind prayers for me.  I have read about the terrible times when medicine was needed and there was no money for it.  And I read about each time someone gave him a little money and saw how very grateful he was for any amount sent to help him. I hope you contact him and become his friend also.

I can tell you that no matter what my problems have been, when I talk to Rukeribuga, I feel that God has blessed me so much, not only so that I don't have to live in such poverty, but also that I have had a chance to meet such a wonderful child of God and the people who are working so hard to help him.

May Almighty God give you His grace as you read this man's story and open your hearts to his humble life so that you remember you have a few dollars to spare; that for these that have so little, means survival.  Letter from Rukeribuga.
